Equipment

The pilot-scale tannery is part of the Leather and Biopolymers Division and fulfills traditional tasks of leather research.

Wet section
  • 9 Dosemat drums, which can process raw stock in a range from 0.5 - 100 kg. The drums are made of stainless steel, heatable, with continuously variable rotational speed, and equipped with an interval switch. The biggest Dosemat VG 30316 vessel additionally has a weighing system based on measured-force input units and a by-pass unit with tangential screen to permit liquor purification in the process running.
