Performance Profile

In the material characterization division problems are solved for the following main business fields:

• Physical, mechanical-technological and chemical tests of
  - leather, leatherboard and collagen products,
  - artificial leather, plastics and plastic webs,
  - textiles,
  in the accredited test laboratory (see Services)
• Process-related material characterization
• Process-related expert's reports and problem solutions
• Besides standard tests, a lot of other tests and investigations on leather and plastic materials, also in accordance with special customer´s demands
• Special investigations, e.g. electron and infrared microscopy, photoelectronic spectroscopy (ESCA, XPS), and emission measurements
• Development of new test and analytical methods, methodical research
• Responsible co-operation in standardization committees
• Project management and close co-operation with process-related research projects.
