Division Material Characterization

Services

Besides the development of R&D projects, testing and technological services are performed in our laboratories. In the material characterization division you will find an accredited testing laboratory being at your disposal.

Physical, mechanical-technological and chemical tests of leather, leatherboard and collagen products, artificial leather, plastics, textiles, and plastic webs
Accreditation in accordance with DIN EN ISO / IEC 17025
Testing in accordance with german, european or other norms
Responsible co-operation in standardization committees
Participation in numerous interlaboratory experiments

The following services are offered:

Testing of leather, leatherboards and collagen, e.g. for fastness, strength, water vapour permeability, VOC or fogging
Testing of plastic webs, e.g. for fatigue bending strength, abrasion or burning test
Full testing in accordance with technical specifications
Development of news testing processes and methods
