About us
We are an independent industrial research institution located in Freiberg. We research materials and develop technologies for the leather, plastics and collagen processing industries. Our accredited testing laboratory is a testing service provider for the automotive and furniture industries, the medical technology sector, the food industry and for manufacturers of technical textiles. With our 150 employees and a 130-year tradition, we are one of the largest and oldest industrial research facilities in Germany.
