FILK as employer
You can expect an interesting and varied job, whether in the accredited test laboratory or in the research area. No two working days are the same. Trainees, technicians and students work hand in hand at FILK in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, material and textile sciences and administration.
The main building from the 19th century was completely modernized and expanded in 2014. In the following years, the other parts of the building, including the tannery and coating technology, were also modernized and rearranged. A completely new hall is available to FILK on the Saxonia site, Halsbrücker Straße, for further coating facilities.
