OEKO-TEX® Certifications

Safety for consumers

Made in Green by OEKO-TEX®

MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® is an independent and product label to meet the increased awareness of consumers for products manufactured in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. It enables manufacturers and retailers of textile and leather articles to clearly and visibly express their product responsibility. MADE IN GREEN product ID makes the entire value-added chain transparent and provides consumers with a reliable orientation for sustainable purchasing decisions.

MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® goes beyond the freedom from harmful substances. It also evaluates the raw materials and process chemicals required for production, manufacturing processes and site management. The more preliminary products and processes are certified via OEKO-TEX®, the easier it is for manufacturers and retailers of textile and leather products to obtain MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® certification. Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX®

The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is certainly the world's most widely used label in the OEKO-TEX® product family for labelling textiles tested for harmful substances, artificial leather, coated textiles and composites. Certification is based on the OEKO-TEX® catalog of criteria. It takes into account numerous substances, both regulated and non-regulated, which could be harmful to human health. In many cases, the limit values set for the STANDARD 100 exceed national and international requirements.

Product certification according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is modular in structure. Textile articles can be tested and certified at every stage of processing, including the manufacture of accessories. The recognition of pre-certificates can save testing costs for subsequent certifications.

SteP by OEKO-TEX®

STeP stands out from other certification systems in that it not only takes individual sustainability aspects into account, but also carries out a holistic analysis and evaluation of production conditions. STeP analyzes all important company areas within the framework of 6 modules:

  • Chemicals Management

  • Environmental performance

  • Environmental Management

  • Social responsibility

  • Quality Management

  • Health and safety at work

The goal of STeP certification is the permanent implementation of environmentally friendly production processes, social working conditions and optimal occupational safety.
