The BIOPOLYMER Congress brings together decision-makers, end-users and experts from industry and research, offering a comprehensive overview of the latest developments across the entire value chain.
We at FILK are also delighted to be taking part again this year. FILK will be represented at the event by Mandy Gersch. The focus will be on our material solutions, which combine performance, circularity and bio-based raw materials. We will demonstrate how flexible polymer composites can be designed so that biogenic components make up a growing proportion of the formulations, textile and plastic fractions can be cleanly separated after use, and high-quality recyclates can be returned to the cycle. At the same time, our concepts enable cascade use: used lorry tarpaulins are first given a second life before being mechanically recycled.
Our aim is to show companies along the value chain ways to achieve a sustainable future for flexible polymer composites and thus actively contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
