This seminar will only be held in German.
The aim of this seminar is to impart fundamental knowledge about the extrusion and calendering of thermoplastic materials. Participants will acquire knowledge about various calenderable polymers/polymer blends and their processing. The design and operation of different extruders and calenders will be explained. The focus will then be on the processing of polymers on a rolling mill and calender on a laboratory scale.
