SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISE INNOVATION DAY 2026 – FILK PRESENTS TWO RESEARCH PROJECTS IN BERLIN-PANKOW
Innovations emerge where research, small and medium-sized enterprises, and practical application come together. On June 11, 2026, the FILK Freiberg Institute will be represented at the BMWK’s SME Innovation Day on the outdoor grounds of AiF-Projekt GmbH in Berlin-Pankow. The event is one of the most important open-air formats for technology-oriented transfer projects and offers companies, research institutions, and innovation stakeholders a platform for direct exchange and new ideas.
OUR PROJECT PRESENTATIONS
Polyol Recyclates from Flexible PU Materials: As part of her INNO-KOM project, Dr. Linda Köhler will present new approaches to the chemical recycling of flexible polyurethane materials. The goal is to close material loops and develop sustainable solutions for managing PU waste.
iSi-Care – Diagnostic Support for Acute Joint Injuries: Dr. Martin Heise presents the IGF project iSi-Care, which was carried out in collaboration with the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at TU Dresden. The focus is on developing an AI-supported, silicone-based electrode array designed to enable differentiated diagnostics of acute joint injuries using electromyography.
We look forward to engaging with companies, research partners, and representatives of the innovation ecosystem. Innovation Day offers an opportunity to highlight current developments and initiate new collaborations for future technology transfer projects.
