How can thermally sensitive biomaterials – such as collagen-based ones – be sterilized safely and with minimal material damage? These and other questions will be the focus of the next network meeting of the Sterile Technology Competence Network, organized by leap:up GmbH.
Our colleagues Dr. Ina Prade and Dr. Birgit Voigt from the FILK Freiberg Institute will provide practical insights into modern processes such as:
✅ Sterilization with supercritical CO₂
✅ Low-temperature gas plasma sterilization
They will demonstrate specific applications, such as the sterilization of growth factor-loaded implants, and offer tours of our biological laboratories.
