About the poster:
With a poster "PBS-based 1-component artificial leather via extrusion coating", Dr Kristin Tommer, Head of Department "Functional Layer Systems" will be present at Technomer. The formulation and process parameters for the production of PBS-based artificial leather via extrusion coating will be presented. Such a bio-based composite material, besides being an alternative to artificial leather, also offers the potential of recyclability through reuse in the thermoplastic moulding process and biodegradability through composting.
About the conference:
The plastics industry, like many other industries, is facing major challenges with regard to a climate-neutral Europe 2050 and the possibilities and limits of climate-neutral plastics production.
