On February 21 and 22, 2017, the third NanoCarbon annual conference took place in Würzburg. FILK scientist Dr Kristin Trommer also accepted the invitation of the Nanotechnology Cluster and the NanoCarbon Network and gave a presentation on innovative heatable textile laminates based on carbon nanotubes. The heat is not generated by wires as usual, but in a conductive layer containing these carbon nanotubes. This was also recently reported on by Deutschlandfunk.
