Every year, the Chemnitz University of Technology awards this competition to the best scientific papers written in the subjects of mathematics, physics, chemistry and computer science.
This year, Tessa Koch from Freiberg's Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium took up the challenge. Her work
"Investigation of potential correlations between softness testing and tensile testing of leather".
at the FILK in Freiberg. Her supervisor, Dr Sascha Dietrich, accompanied her during the work.
The jury of the TU Chemnitz was enthusiastic about this work and awarded her the 1st prize.
We congratulate Tessa for this great achievement and wish her much success in the upcoming Abitur exams.
