"SHAPING A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE" - SAXON RESEARCH INSTITUTES PRESENT THEMSELVES ON OCTOBER 8, 2019

For the 4th time, Saxon research institutes of the Saxon Industrial Research Association (SIG) present their range of services, this year under the heading "Shaping a sustainable future".
On October 8, Saxony's industrial research institutes will meet at BIO CITY Leipzig with the support of the Saxon Chambers of Commerce and Industry to present projects dealing with the use of sustainable raw materials and energy sources or the recovery and recycling of raw materials to representatives of Saxony's business and political communities.
In his key note "Sustainable Economics - Innovations for the Transformation to Sustainable Business", Professor Holger Rogall will highlight new macro- and microeconomic approaches for sustainable business management.
Professor Rogall will be followed by presentations from CO.DON AG and Biophysical Tools GmbH. Both biotechnology companies are located in BIO CITY Leipzig and can be visited after the lecture program.
14 Speed Science lectures from the institutes round off the lecture program. In 5-minute talks, scientists will provide insights into their work on the topic of sustainability.
