A long road together
The FILK and Friedmar Götz have travelled a long road together. As managing partner of Vowalon Beschichtung GmbH (Treuen, Germany), he made his company a founding member of the FILK's industry-supported association in 1992. In 1998, he was appointed to the board, which he chaired in 2008. Until 2022, he managed the fortunes of the association, which has the task of bundling, coordinating and organising the cross-company interests of joint industrial research.
Thanks in part to Friedmar Götz's great voluntary commitment and foresight, the FILK was able to establish a firm place for itself in the national and international research landscape under the leadership of our funding association.
A year ago, Marcus Adelmann, Managing Director of Hewa Leder GmbH, took over the reins. Friedmar Götz was his deputy before he finally retired. He will remain associated with the FILK as an honorary member.

We wish an exciting and eventful retirement
Friedmar Götz has also already made provisions for his successor in his company. Gregor and Mareen Götz have shared the management of Vowalon Beschichtung GmbH for several years. They are also already involved in the FILK Support Association.
