Our testing laboratory performs testing in accordance with DIN EN ISO 178 reliably and under an accredited procedure.
The test is used to determine the flexural properties of plastics under defined static loading. Standardized specimens are examined using a three-point bending test, in which flexural strength, flexural modulus, and flexural stress are determined as a function of deflection, providing an assessment of the stiffness and strength behavior of plastic semi-finished products and molded parts.
Testing according to standard DIN EN ISO 178 in our laboratory is suitable for a wide range of plastic materials, including thermoplastics, thermosets, and reinforced plastics. The results provide essential data for material selection, product development, incoming goods inspection, and ongoing quality control.
