Our test laboratory performs testing according to MAN M 3594 Sections 4.3.3 and 5.3.3 for the determination of the vertical burning rate of materials used in commercial vehicles.
The MAN specification is used to evaluate flame propagation under defined test conditions and enables the determination of the vertical burning rate of materials used in vehicle interiors as well as insulation materials for engine and heating areas. The test is particularly applicable to synthetic leather, leather, textiles, foams, trend substitutes and components and serves to verify fire safety in accordance with MAN requirements.
