Package 2 of our laboratory comprises an extended range of chemical testing for leather and leather fibre materials based on the SVHC (Substance of Very High Concern) Candidate List of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) as well as additional substances required by industry- and customer-specific specifications. It is particularly designed for applications with enhanced requirements regarding product safety, material compliance and adherence to specific regulatory standards.
In addition to the standard SVHC parameters, this test package includes further analyses, among others for aromatic amines, 4-aminoazobenzene, organophosphate flame retardants, pentachlorophenol (PCP), dimethyl fumarate (DMFu), biocides and preservatives in leather as well as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH).
