The Bentley Crewe Quality Specifications (CQS) define quality requirements for materials and joining methods used in the interior of Bentley vehicles. The FILK testing laboratory performs selected tests in accordance with Bentley specifications and supports manufacturers and suppliers in quality assessment, product development, and the approval of materials and components.
The current testing portfolio includes adhesive strength testing of mechanical joining methods and bonded joints (Bentley CQS 161), quality testing of automotive leather (Bentley CQS 164), and flatness testing of leather edge-bound overmats (Bentley CQS 180). All tests are carried out in accordance with the latest applicable Bentley specifications and provide reliable results for quality control and verification of specification compliance.
