The testing lab of FILK Freiberg Institute performs testing according to KIA/Hyundai requirements for material development and quality assurance in the automotive industry. A key focus is on the flammability behaviour of interior materials in accordance with MS 300-08 (flame speed and flame propagation under defined test conditions) as well as odour evaluation according to MS 300-34. In addition, material-related analyses are carried out on leather, leather fibre materials, plastics, elastomers, textiles, foams and coated materials.
