As part of the DIANA workstation, the Fraunhofer IZl invites you to FILK Freiberg on December 2nd. The focus will be on "Smart Textiles & Point-of-Care Technologies."
After an introductory presentation from our institute on current developments and projects, we will explore the diverse application potential of smart textiles together with you – from veterinary medicine, use in hospitals and care, and sports to aspects such as sustainability and future market opportunities. The goal of the workstation is to promote exchange between research, practice, and industry, identify concrete needs, and highlight perspectives for future developments. In addition to exciting keynote speeches, you will be invited to topic-specific discussion groups where ideas can be collected and further developed.
In addition to many other exciting presentations, Dr. Martin Heise (FILK) will offer an exciting insight into this topic with his keynote speech "From Flexibility to Functionality: Conductive Polymers as Driving Forces for Smart Textiles in Point-of-Care Applications."
