The Middle Saxony Networking Fair ‘RESTEC’ will take place on 9 September 2025 from 10 a.m. at DBI Freiberg. This is where the regional economy and science of the district of Middle Saxony meet.
The district of Middle Saxony is characterised by innovative companies, technology service providers and research institutions that shape future topics in a sustainable way. The business areas are wide-ranging: from energy, environmental and process engineering, mechanical engineering, automation and recycling to laser and media technology, additive manufacturing and digitalisation.
RESTEC provides companies with a strong platform for networking and cooperation with partners from business, science and the start-up scene. The focus is on forward-looking solutions that combine economic efficiency with ecological responsibility. The initiative of the district of Central Saxony, IHK Chemnitz Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Central Saxony, the university town of Freiberg and SAXONIA Standortentwicklungs- und -verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH bundles excellent expertise in one day.
