FILK is qualified testing service provider for materials for automotive interiors at the BMW Group
In December, our accredited testing laboratory received the news that the BMW qualification procedure for surface testing had been successfully completed. The BMW Group thus confirms that we are a listed testing service provider for its BMW, Mini and Rolls Royce brands.
In the two-stage qualification process, our quality management system itself was first put to the test. In the next step, all test methods to be qualified had to pass an interlaboratory test at a neutral service provider.
These included:
Heat storage (240 h / 100 °C)
Manual abrasion test (GS 97034-1)
Resistance to cleaning agents (GS 97034-5)
Color fastness (DIN EN ISO 105-B06)
Color abrasion behavior (GS 97034-4 / procedure B)
Scratch and abrasion resistance (GS 97034-10)
Our accredited test laboratory has been a service provider for the automotive industry for more than 20 years. The successful qualification as a testing service provider for the BMW Group is a confirmation of the quality of our work.
