INFECTION CONTROL - WHAT THE SIG INSTITUTES ARE DOING HERE

Over 90 million infected, over 2 million deaths worldwide - the Coronavirius is changing the world. Special substances for masks, ventilation systems for schools - the research around Corona is manifold. How the members of the Sächsische Industrieforschungsgemeinschaft e. V. (SIG) are contributing to reducing the risk of infection with their innovations, you can find out at the next SIG Science Talk on March 18, 2021 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Scientists from the Institut für Luft- und Kältetechnik gGmbH (ILK) in Dresden, the Forschungsinstitut für Leder- und Kunststoffbahnen (FILK) in Freiberg and the Sächsisches Textilforschungsinstitut (STFI) in Chemnitz will report and discuss on the topic "All about Corona". We invite you to find out about current research activities in Saxony and to enter into dialog with our speakers.

About the Sächsische Industrieforschungsgemeinschaft e. V. (SIG):
The Sächsische Industrieforschungsgemeinschaft e.V. (SIG) speaks with one voice for the Saxon non-profit external industrial research institutions. SIG was founded in Dresden in 2014 to pool their strengths in Saxony. It currently has 19 members. With its wide-ranging research spectrum, the research association strengthens transfer-oriented, market-preparing research in Saxony in the interest of Saxony's small and medium-sized enterprises. The focus in terms of content is on the one hand on Saxony's industries of the future, such as materials, technology and process development, and on the other hand always on the pulse of central issues of important social challenges such as resource efficiency or environmental compatibility.
