Bisphenol A (BPA) is used as a raw material for the synthesis of polymeric plastics and as an antioxidant in plasticizers and is therefore part of many everyday objects. Due to its estrogen-like and reproductive toxicity, BPA was included in the SVHC list of the REACH regulation as a substance of of very high concern in 2017.
In addition to bisphenol A, we can also determine bisphenol S, F, B and AF.
