With its unique material competence for leather, leather substitutes, coated textiles and composites the Germany-based FILK Research Institute will focus on its testing and OEKO-TEX® certification services for the digital exhibition at Virtual APLF.
“Since we do not expect any larger industry gatherings during first half of 2021, at least not as they used to be, we very much appreciate the initiative of APLF to virtualise the much missed trade shows of APLF. We are happy to take this chance to present our services to producers and suppliers of leather, coated textiles and other composites and products made of these materials for the European market.”, says Dr Sascha Dietrich, head of FILK´s accredited test laboratory.
Due to its close connection to the research and development activities of FILK institute the lab has an outstanding material expertise and long-time experience with materials used in automotive interior, for upholstery, interior trimmings, shoes, clothes and similar applications. It is a listed partner for material testing of numerous car manufacturers and certification partner of OEKO-TEX®.
Throughout the three shows, FILK experts will be available for exchange on technical issues, sharing expertise and industry news. For visitors and exhibitors the virtual show provides various means for interaction and online networking experience.
