At FILK test laboratory, we perform thickness measurements in accordance with various international standards, such as DIN EN ISO 2286-3 for plastics, coated textiles, and various types of films, DIN EN ISO 5084 for textiles, and DIN EN ISO 2589 for determining the thickness of leather.
These measurement values are used not only directly for quality assurance or for verifying compliance with technical delivery specifications (TLs), but also indirectly for the calculation of many physical parameters, such as mass per unit area or specific mechanical properties.
