The Freiberg Silicon Days take place as part of the BHT - Freiberg University Forum. The event includes contributions on all aspects of silicon. The main topics are precursor and wet chemistry, Si-O hybrid materials and the recycling of silicon-containing materials. Sophia Rau will present a paper on: "Silicon-based coatings for reduced blocking tendency". The lecture will focus on the development of coatings for silicone-coated textiles. It will be presented how the blocking tendency of silicone surfaces can be reduced using silicone-based hybrid materials.
